As part of Les Journées de la culture, at Place des Festivals in the Quartier des spectacles .

Tisse ta culture was a participatory installation that invited people – passersby and residents – to come and weave red string into nails, revealing famous sentences that are part of Quebec culture.

Michèle Lalonde’s “Il est si beau de vous entendre” and Loco Locass’s “Langage-toi” inhabited a 50-foot stretch of wall in Place des Festivals. For three days, people wove to create this collective artwork that spoke of the links among people and the connections between people and their culture and identity.
